キャナルシティ・福岡ワシントンホテル

全面リニューアルした「キャナルシティ・福岡ワシントンホテル」のロビー空間に、4点のキャンバス作品を制作・納入しました。

ロビーのテーマ「HAKATA VIBES」のもと、福岡を代表する博多祇園山笠が持つ力強さや躍動感を起点に、それぞれ異なるルールと構造による作品を制作しました。なかでも《Overlap #100》はF200号（W194×H259cm）で、これまで制作したキャンバス作品の中で最大となる作品です。

作品は原画として展示されるほか、柱を覆う大型グラフィックやホテルのカードキーにも展開され、ロビー空間全体を構成するアートワークとして導入されています。

Canal City Fukuoka Washington Hotel

Four original paintings were commissioned for the newly renovated lobby of Canal City Fukuoka Washington Hotel.

Under the lobby theme “HAKATA VIBES,” the works were created in response to the strength and dynamism of Hakata Gion Yamakasa, one of Fukuoka’s most iconic festivals. Each painting was developed according to a different visual rule and structure. Among them, Overlap #100, measuring W194×H259cm (F200), is the largest canvas work I have produced to date.

In addition to being exhibited as original paintings, the works have been expanded into large-scale graphics wrapping the lobby columns and are also featured on the hotel’s key cards, extending the artworks throughout the entire lobby space.
